SPAN seeks support to deliver Suicide Action Plan for Bendigo. Can you help?

To whom it may concern,

Suicide Prevention Awareness Network (SPAN) Central Victoria has gained a State Government Pick My Project grant to deliver a Suicide Prevention Program in the City of Greater Bendigo over the next 12 months.

We are seeking quotes from contractors to plan and co-ordinate the delivery of the safeTALK Suicide Prevention Program in Bendigo businesses from around March 2019.

There are key 5 elements to the project:

1 - Engaging with employers to participate in the safeTALK program and working with them to sustain mental health programs around suicide prevention beyond this project. A list of preferred employers is in place and the successful provider will be required to develop and implement a communication and engagement schedule to recruit interested employers to participate in the program.

2 - Delivering up to 70, four-hour safeTALK workshops in at least 20 busineses through the 12 months.

3 - Liaising with local media regarding appropriate reporting on suicide in accordance with the Mindframe Everymind Guidelines Program.

4 - Design and implement an approach to evaluate the efficacy of the intervention.

5 - Design and development of any embedding activities and/or collateral that will serve to support sustainability of the program and/or participant outcomes.

A fixed cost should be provided for elements 1, 3, 4 and 5 and a schedule of rates (per workshop) cost should be provided for element 2.

Due to the short time-frame to start this project, suppliers are requested to submit their expressions of interest no later than 4pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2018. Late submissions will not be considered.

Please keep details in the Quotation Response Schedule brief.

If you would like th obtain the documents needed to submit a quote for this project, please contact me by email on or call 0419 762 791.

Thank you.
