SPAN Central Victoria services Bendigo and the surrounding area. Whilst the committee has been active for several years and run a number of walks to raise awareness of suicide prevention, they have not had their own website.
To date, SPAN have relied upon a Facebook page to promote their activities.
Late last year, SPAN decided to take the plunge and have their own website developed. The website will provide a greater focal point for the activities of SPAN Central Victoria and a home for all of their information. This will include document storage and the ability to make minutes and other documents available to the public and the committee.
In addition, the new website will provide the opportunity to promote events being run by SPAN. A great example of this is the movie night on Thursday the 15th February. Why not find out more about this event by clicking on the link to the event for the Movie Night.
