Dean McKay
SECRETARY
Dean has lived in Bendigo for ten years and is a management consultant to the Australian health and aged care sectors. He is SPAN CV's Secretary. Dean joined the Committee of SPAN in 2024 after interviewing one of SPAN's founders, Alannah Mcgregor, for a project he was conducting to identify mental health and wellbeing support priorities for the Loddon-Mallee region.
Dean strongly believes in the role of trusted, community-based supports as both a protective factor and an effective response mechanism for people experiencing tough times. He is keen to help more people in Central Victoria gain the awareness and skills to recognise and respond to people who need help through his role on SPAN.
